I Can Only Imagine Movie on DVD
$22.99
DENNIS QUAID and TRACE ADKINS star in this inspiring true story behind MercyMe’s beloved hit song. Running from a troubled home life and a broken relationship, Bart Millard (J. MICHAEL FINLEY) found escape in music. Hitting the road in a decrepit tour bus, Bart and his band MercyMe set out on an amazing journey none of them could ever have imagined, in this uplifting, music-filled movie that beautifully illustrates the power of forgiveness and God’s love.
Rated PG for thematic elements including some violence.

Zen Wijeyesinghe –
What an absolutely incredible film. I confess I didn’t know the song in any real depth prior to seeing the film, since watching it, I bought it and have played it so many times! Growing up with a father who showed no love towards me, but did to my sister, I could associate with the huge disconnect in this film. The phrases, “I love you son,” or “I am proud of you son,” were phrases I so desperately longed to hear. When I came to truly know God as my Heavenly father, my life changed as I now had a dad who did love me and my, “I don’t care if anything happens to me,” attitude died too.
My earthly dad gave his heart to Jesus in December of 2012 and in Heaven, I look forward to catching up. So that amazing scene at the end of the film where in the concert Bart was singing only to Jesus and his dad was particularly poignant.
Thank you for taking the time to make such an inspiring film.

Many of us have very similar stories. Thank God He is a loving heavenly Father that constantly let’s us know we are fearfully and wonderfully made and He loves is just as we are. Thank you for the wonderful movie. It was very good. Can hardly wait to start the devotion.
Rev. Richard Ferguson –
It was an awesome movie and story. I was able to take some youth from our church, and I beleive everyone of them got touched and deeply inspired. Thank you for the incredible movie.

The Imagine study is amazing! City On a Hill has done a remarkable job capturing the essence of forgiveness, redemption, and our hope of salvation by providing a way for people to connect to and rest on the promises of scripture.

Steve Hutchison – I thank God that Christian films such as I Can Only Imagine have raised their standards and rival many first run movies. This one (I can only imagine) has a theme that so many of the young men I work with in prison have experienced and is the reason they are behind bars. The theme of having an abusive parent – and all that comes about because of that situation. Seeing Bart being redeemed by God’s love in the midst of that situation is truly inspirational and shows the value of listening to God during those trying times and allowing a negative to become a positive. I had hoped to share this film with them for their final class on May 27. I’m sorry it won’t be out by that time.

The movie reaches deep into my soul and heart as does the song… they both hold true meaning to me and my life and my longing for a understanding that has not come yet from my earthly father.

I heard the song before but didn’t know the title nor the bands name. I liked the song the first time I heard it. I saw the trailer for the movie months ago or longer. My husband usually goes to the video store and picks out the movies. He asked me to come this time. I saw the movie on the shelf and insisted we get it although I couldn’t remember why. I now suffer with memory loss. My 10-year-old daughter watch the movie with us and she said she remembers seeing previews of this movie too. As the movie went on some tears roll down my face during the movie, my daughter said to me “mom I feel like I need to cry too”. I told her go ahead don’t be ashamed. God gave us many Emotions for different things. However I believe it’s the Holy Ghost/spirit inside us that guides us to do aid in what God’s plan is for us. God has made each of us different for reason we don’t know. You will see a group of people each one may feel and react different to the same situation. Don’t be ashamed of her feelings or choices I know That is easier said than done because we’re characterize, judged, an many other things even I struggle with it. My husband, myself, and all my children Have respectabl, giving, and loving hearts which has led each one of us to be taking advantage of in more than one way or another and have no true friends. This daughter hold in her emotions. This movie truly moved her as much as it did me. I love the fact that it’s producers did not use religion in a way that you don’t have to be religious to watch this The movie show many common events that several families and people are or had to deal Indore along with the fact people do change.God moves us in the right direction at the right time.I hope this film gives people insight and inspiration!. Some people dont realize they can have fun, rejoice, and celebrate while praising Jesus. We have already downloaded some of MercyMe the band songs and looking forward to listening to them. I also can’t wait to share this with my friends, are youth group leaders, and of course our church. This song it’s self is inspiring but the story behind this song is remarkable. Thank you for everyone involved for making such a great movie that will impact people of all ages and religions or not. I look forward to seeing more movies like this. It is extraordinary. One of the Best movies seen in a long time. I cant wait to learn more about the group, their music, and of God‘s word. Thank you and God bless you all!
